HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited

  • Location: Pachpadra, Balotra.
  • Inaugurated twice: 2013 and January 16, 2018 (by PM Narendra Modi).
  • Joint venture: HPCL (74% share) and Rajasthan State Government (26% share).
  • Capacity: 9 Million Metric Tons Per Annum (MMTPA).
  • Revised project cost: ₹72,937 crore.
  • Debt-equity ratio: 2:1 (66% central, 33% state for debt).
  • Based on BS6 standards.
  • Features both a refinery and a petrochemical zone, making it the first such facility in the country.
  • Operator Training Simulator:

    • Aims to provide training to operators who will work in the refinery.

Fountain Square Park

  • To be established in Mansarovar, Jaipur.
  • Aims to promote tourism by combining ancient and modern architectural styles.

Language Lab for Foreign Languages

  • To be established in Jaipur.
  • Announced by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma.
  • To be established by the English and Foreign Languages University in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
  • Purpose: To train youth in foreign languages (English, French, German, etc.) to enhance their employability as tourist guides or in BPOs.

Vishwakarma Yuva Udyami Protsahan Yojana

  • Approved on August 24, 2025.
  • Eligibility: Youth aged 18 to 45 years.
  • Loan provision: Up to ₹2 crore for setting up enterprises.
  • Interest Subsidy: 8% interest subsidy on loans.
  • Additional Interest Subsidy: 1% additional interest subsidy (total 9%) for women, SC, ST, differently-abled, weavers, and artisans on loans between ₹1 crore and ₹2 crore.
  • Margin Money Grant: 25% of the loan amount or a maximum of ₹5 lakh.
