  • Rare Earth Elements Discovery

    • Large deposits found in Siwana, Balotra, Rajasthan.
    • Discovery made by the Geological Survey of India and Atomic Minerals Directorate.
    • Specifically found in Bhati Khera village, Siwana, Balotra.
    • Rare earth minerals are a group of 17 minerals, primarily found on Earth's crust.
    • Used in industries such as motor cars, mobile manufacturing, and heavy electronics.
  • Medical Value Travel Policy 2025

    • Draft policy approved on July 15, 2025.
    • Aim: Develop Rajasthan as a medical tourism destination.
    • Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) to be developed into an autonomous institution (RIMS) on the lines of AIIMS.
    • Context: Rajasthan was the first state to introduce the Right to Health Bill (passed March 2023) and the Right to Sight Policy (2023).
  • Nutri Bar Pilot Project for Anganwadi Children

    • Pilot project launched in Jaipur and Udaipur.
    • Targets 544 Anganwadi centers in these districts.
    • Children aged 3-6 years will receive 20 grams of Nutri Bar daily for 5 days a week, for 6 months.
    • Nutri Bar is a nutritious chocolate made from millet (bajra), wheat, maize, honey, and jaggery.
    • Context: Chief Minister Amrit Aahar Yojana, launched December 14, 2024, in Udaipur (initially 3 days/100ml milk for 3-6 yrs, now extended to 5 days).
  • Rajasthan's First Snake Park

    • Approved by the Central Zoo Authority.
    • Location: Kota.
    • Rajasthan's first Reptile Park is located in Udaipur.
    • The Snake Park is built within the Herbal Park complex on Bundi Road, Kota.
    • It will house 29 varieties of Indian, American, and Australian snakes, including both venomous and non-venomous species.
    • Features a two-story building with 29 chambers for snakes.
  • CAZRI Climate Zone Report

    • New climate zone report released by CAZRI, updating the classification after 46 years.
    • The report maintains 10 agro-climatic zones.
    • States that Bikaner is now a more desert-like district than Jaisalmer.
    • Observes that Jaipur's climate has become similar to that of Sikar and Jhunjhunu.
    • The Western Dry Zone (Paschimi Shushk Kshetra) now includes Barmer and Jalore districts.
  • National One District One Product (ODOP) Award

    • Rajasthan received a Bronze Shield at the National ODOP Award ceremony, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
    • The award recognized Rajasthan's "One District One Product" initiative.
    • Rajasthan's One District One Product Policy was enacted on December 4, 2024.
  • Cadet & Junior Asian Judo Cup

    • Held in Chinese Taipei.
    • Rajasthan's Tania Rathore won a Gold medal in the 40 kg weight category.
    • Rajasthan's Babnur Singh Barar won a Bronze medal in the 90 kg weight category.
