Rejuvenation of Degraded Dry Land Program
- A three-day training program on "Rejuvenation of Degraded Dry Land" was organized at the Forest Science Center, Bikaner.
- The program was organized by the Arid Forest Research Institute (AFRI), Jodhpur, from June 24-26, 2025.
- AFRI (Arid Forest Research Institute): Located in Jodhpur, established in 1988, and operates under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE).
- Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI): Located in Jodhpur. Initially established as Maru Vanikaran in 1952, then Maru Vanikaran and Soil Conservation in 1957, and finally CAZRI in 1959. It operates under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
- National Research Centre on Camel (NRCC): Located in Bikaner, established in 1984, and designated as a Directorate in 1995.

Child Labor Eradication
- Rajasthan ranked third in the country for freeing child laborers.
- The top states were Telangana (1st) and Bihar (2nd, as per news clipping).
- Rajasthan's goal is to become "Child Labor Free" by 2030.
- Constitutional Provisions for Children's Rights in India:
- Article 21A: Ensures the Right to Education (free and compulsory education for children aged 6-14 years). The Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009 was passed on August 4, 2009, and implemented on April 1, 2010.
- Article 23A: Prohibits human trafficking and forced labor, including that involving children.
- Article 24: Prohibits the employment of children (below 14 years) in factories, defining child labor in India.
- Article 45: Provides for early childhood care and education for children below 6 years.
- Definitions of Child Labor:
- International Labour Organization (ILO): Work by individuals under 15 years.
- Child Labor Act 1986 (India): Work by individuals under 14 years. The National Child Labour Policy 1987 was introduced to effectively implement this act and prevent child labor.
Girls Sports Institutes
- The state government will establish Girls Residential Sports Institutes in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Udaipur.
- This initiative was part of the Rajasthan Budget 2024-25 announcements.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight
- The program is scheduled from June 24 to July 9, 2025.
- It was inaugurated on June 24 by the Chief Minister at Bichun Village, Dudu (Jaipur).
- Key Activities:
- Resolving village-level issues such as clearing blocked paths and land mutation.
- Improving water infrastructure, including providing tap connections, repairing pipelines, and cleaning water tanks.
- Distributing plants from nurseries.
- Conducting animal health check-ups and processing insurance claims under the Mangala Pashu Yojana.
- Distributing Ayushman Cards.
- Repairing and improving electricity wires in villages.
- Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Garibi Mukt Gaon (Poverty-Free Village) Yojana:
- A survey of 10,000 villages will be conducted under this scheme.
- The scheme has a budget of ₹300 crore.
- In the first phase, work will be implemented in 5,000 villages.
- The aim is to spend ₹1 lakh per family to promote self-reliance through vocational training.
- Note: Khudi Sand Dunes, Jaisalmer, hosted the 11th International Yoga Day state-level program, not the inauguration of this fortnight.

- Rajasthan will host the Khelo India University Games for the first time in Jaipur.
