Energy Production in Rajasthan:
- A 975 MW solar plant was inaugurated. It will provide 2.18 units of electricity per unit to Rajasthan, covering 3500 acres and benefiting 500,000 consumers. The plant's construction was completed in 15 months. It is 90% "Make in Rajasthan".
- Rajasthan is ranked first in solar energy and second in renewable energy production nationally.
- The 975 MW Pokhran solar plant will provide 2.18 units of electricity to Rajasthan at a certain rate. The plant covers 3500 acres and is 100% Make in India.
Rajasthan Internal Centre:
- Celebrated its second anniversary on April 17, 2025.
Jaisalmer Developments:
- Sam village, described as Rajasthan's "Thunderbolt," is a vegetation-free village where a military range is under construction.
- Kuldhara village, also in Jaisalmer, is known as a cursed or haunted village and contains whale fossil remains. It also houses Rajasthan's first cactus garden.
- Ramgarh village is mentioned, its location is in both Barā and Jaisalmer.
Pokhran, Rajasthan:
- Location of a 975 MW solar plant, inaugurated by Prahlad Joshi. 90% of its equipment is from Jaipur, Rajasthan. This is the first fully "Make in India" solar plant. It produces 2490 million units of electricity annually.
- Site of nuclear tests (two phases, under Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee).
