National Initiatives & Social Welfare
- Skill India Mission:
- India’s 1st Skill India Centre (SIC) inaugurated in Sambalpur, Odisha, aimed at enhancing the employability of local youth.
- PM-SURAJ Portal:
- Launched the Pradhan Mantri Social Upliftment and Employment Support for Jan Kalyan (PM-SURAJ) portal.
- Objective: To provide credit support (loans) directly to marginalized sections, including Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and sanitation workers.
- Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana (Himachal Pradesh):

- Mission Divyastra (Agni-5):
- Successful flight test of the Agni-5 missile.
