  • Sentinel-6B Satellite: Launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, using a Falcon 9 rocket (SpaceX). It is part of the European Union's Copernicus Earth observation program, with the objective to observe Earth and specifically measure sea surface height.
  • Physics Wallah IPO: Ed-tech unicorn company Physics Wallah (PW) successfully launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO), becoming the first ed-tech company in India to do so. It was listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

• Military Exercises & Operations

  • Ajeya Warrior Exercise: The 8th edition of the India-UK military exercise 'Ajeya Warrior' was held in Mahajan Field, Bikaner, Rajasthan, lasting 14 days. The Indian contingent was led by the Sikh Regiment. Other India-UK exercises include Konkan and Indradhanush.
  • Operation Southern Sphere: Launched by the USA in the Caribbean Sea to attack drug trafficking ships.

  • Leopard Birth Control Program: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change approved India's first-of-its-kind leopard birth control program in Maharashtra. The program aims to control the leopard population, especially in human settlements and sugarcane fields, by sterilizing female leopards. Madhya Pradesh has the highest leopard population in India.
  • 16th Finance Commission Report: The 16th Finance Commission submitted its report to President Murmu. Dr. Arvind Panagariya is its Chairman, and Ritwik Ranjan Pandey is the Secretary.
