- Target Growth: 4.5%; Achieved Growth: 4.27%.
- Third Five-Year Plan (1961-1966)

- Focus: Agriculture and Industry (both).
- Context: India-China War (1962), India-Pakistan War (1965), plan failed to achieve targets.

- Concept by: Dr. Gunnar Myrdal (in his book "Asian Drama").

- Sixth Five-Year Plan (1980-1985)
- Model: Input-Output model.

- Dhruv 64: India's fully indigenous micro-processor, developed by C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing). It's a 1 GHz, 64-bit dual-core system. (India's first fully indigenous micro-processor was Vikram 32).
- ISRO: Signed an agreement with HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) for small satellite launch vehicle technology.
- First Indigenous Adelfacy Vaccine: India has licensed private companies to produce this malaria vaccine.
