Census 2027 in Rajasthan

  • 16th Census of India: To be conducted in 2027.
  • Reference Dates:
    • March 1, 2027: For most states, including Rajasthan.
    • October 1, 2026: For Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
  • Pilot Project in Rajasthan: The census is being tested in three locations:
    • Jaipur: किशन पोल (Kishan Pol) area of Jaipur Municipal Corporation.
    • Barmer: Entire Barmer tehsil and some urban areas.
    • Dungarpur: गलियाकोट (Galiyakot) area.
  • First Phase Full Testing: Scheduled from November 10 to 30.
