Rajasthan's Performance in Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA ID) Creation
- Rajasthan ranked third in the country for creating Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA IDs) by October 2025.
- Approximately 6.36 crore people in Rajasthan have received their ABHA IDs.
- Within Rajasthan, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Alwar districts lead in ABHA ID creation.
- The ABHA ID system, launched under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (2021), aims to digitize patient medical history through a 14-digit health account, facilitating better treatment.
Sixth National Water Awards 2025
- The sixth edition of the National Water Awards was held on November 18, 2025, in New Delhi.
- Rajasthan was selected in the third category for its efforts in water conservation.
- Overall, nine districts from Rajasthan were honored.
- First Category (Water Conservation): Bhilwara and Barmer districts were awarded ₹2 crore each.
- Second Category: Jaipur and Udaipur districts were awarded ₹1 crore each.
- These awards were given under the "Catch the Rain" program (started March 22, 2021).
- Related Flagship Schemes in Rajasthan:
- Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Karyakram: Aims to make Rajasthan water self-reliant. Phase 1 began on January 27, 2016 (Gardankhedi, Jhalawar); Phase 2 on February 18, 2024.
- Karmabhoomi Se Matribhoomi Karyakram: Launched on January 15, 2025, to encourage water conservation through the cooperation of Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRR) and Bhamashahs. The goal is to build 45,000 rainwater structures by 2027-28. This program was initially implemented as a pilot project in six districts: Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Bhilwara, Pali, Jodhpur, and Sirohi.
Indian Army's Operation Trishul and Related Exercises
- Operation Trishul (Maha Gujraj): A large-scale Indian Army exercise conducted from October 30 to November 10, 2025, spanning from Jaisalmer to the Rann of Kutch. It involved 30,000 soldiers, making it India's largest military exercise to date.
- Exercise Maru Jwala: Conducted on November 11, 2025, at the Pokhran Field Firing Range as part of Operation Trishul.
- Emergency Airstrip Operations (November 11, 2025): At the Bakhasar emergency airstrip in Barmer (located on NH 925A), Jaguar and Sukhoi 30 fighter jets performed take-offs and landings. A C-295 transport aircraft also landed, testing its operational capability on the strip.
- Exercise Inder 2025: A joint military exercise between India and Russia, held from October 7 to 15, 2025, at the Mahajan Range in Bikaner.
Ease of Doing Business Ranking
- Rajasthan received the "Top Achiever Award" in the Ease of Doing Business ranking at the "Udyog Samagam Karyakram" held in New Delhi.
- The award was accepted by Rajasthan's Industry Minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
- The global Ease of Doing Business ranking, based on 11 parameters, first began in 2003.
Japan Para Badminton International Championship
- Krishna Nagar (Jaipur): Won a gold medal in the SH6 category at the Japan Para Badminton International Championship. He has also won gold at the Tokyo Paralympics and the 2024 World Cup Para Tournament, and received the Major Dhyanchand Award in 2022.
- Sundar Gurjar: Para-athlete (Javelin Throw, F-46 category). Won bronze at the Tokyo Paralympics and Paris Paralympics, and a silver medal at the 2025 New Delhi Para World Cup.
- Mona Agarwal: Para shooter (SH1 category). Won a bronze medal at the Paris Paralympics and was honored with the Arjun Award in 2024.
