State-Level Women's Conferences in Rajasthan

  • Dholpur Conference:
    • Held on December 19, 2025, in Panchgaon, Dholpur, to mark the completion of the Rajasthan government's two-year tenure.
    • ₹154 crore was distributed under social pension schemes.
    • ₹100 crore in loans was disbursed to women associated with Rajivika.

Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF)

  • The 12th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) will be held from January 31 to February 4, 2026, in Jodhpur.
  • It will commence at Miraj Bioscope and conclude at Mehrangarh Fort.

University Collaborations for Employment-Oriented Education

  • Jay Narayan Vyas University (JNVU), Jodhpur, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (under the Central Ministry of Education).
  • The MOU aims to make higher education more employment-oriented.
  • About JNVU Jodhpur:
    • Established in 1962.
    • Hosts the Tribal Study Center and Veer Teja Ji Study Center.
  • Other Noted Universities:
    • M.B.M. University, Jodhpur: Rajasthan's third technical university. Developed blockchain technology for home voting and a technique to produce ink from vehicle exhaust.
    • Swami Keshavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University: Rajasthan's first agricultural university.
