- ASEAN-India Tourism Exchange Program 2025: The program began in Guwahati, Assam, to boost tourism. ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) was founded in 1967, headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. Timor-Leste is its newest (11th) member. The 2025 ASEAN meeting was held in Malaysia.

- New Ramsar Sites:

- Squash World Cup 2025: India won its first Squash World Cup title, defeating Hong Kong (China) in the final hosted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
