Interpol Operations
- Interpol launched "Operation Thunder" to rescue trafficked animals globally, saving 3000 live animals including tigers, sea turtles, birds, and pangolins (the world's most trafficked animal).
- Interpol was established on September 7, 1923, with its headquarters in Lyon, France. International Police Day is celebrated on September 7.

Infrastructure & Environment

Indian Navy
- The Indian Navy will commission its second MH-60R helicopter squadron, INS 335 "Osprey," in Goa on December 17.
